Terms of Service

The product and services provided by Drummy.io are given "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and it may fail or become unavailable at any time.

Drummy.io is intended solely for creating rhythms and practicing music. Any other use of the platform is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to mitigate misuse, which may result in immediate and permanent bans from the service.

Ownership of Creations

You own everything you create on Drummy.io. Whether you generate a rhythm manually or through the Hector8 AI module, all rights to those compositions and audio clips belong to you. Neither Drummy.io nor Google retain any rights or ownership over your creative output; you are free to use your creations as you please.

Data Processing & Storage

When you make a composition on Drummy, you can’t save your work in the traditional way. Instead, your work is encoded into the URL (after the # sign). We do not store these compositions on our servers.

Temporary Processing: Drummy does not store any files permanently. For features that require file processing (such as audio uploads), files are automatically deleted after a brief period required for the operation to complete.

Hector8 Module: The Hector8 module uses Google Vertex AI (powered by the Gemini model) to parse user-provided audio. Audio is only recorded when you specifically click or tap-hold the "talk to Hector" button; there is no constant capture of audio at any moment while using Hector. By using this feature, you acknowledge that your audio data is processed by Google's infrastructure. Under Google Cloud’s enterprise terms, your audio data and prompts are not used to train Google’s global AI models. Google's privacy terms and conditions apply to this processing.

Analytics & Cookies: We use Google Analytics and Umami to track visits and understand user behavior. Google Analytics may use cookies to collect information about how you interact with our site to improve the user experience. Umami is a cookie-less, privacy-oriented analytics tool. This data helps us understand site performance and improve our tools without identifying individual users.

Drummy Talkie Feature

Drummy Talkie is a tool for exchanging rhythms in an interactive environment. Users are fully responsible for the responsible use of this feature.

Functionality & Privacy

  • Private Rooms: Every Talkie room is private. You must share your unique invite link with others to allow them to participate.
  • No Moderation: We do not enforce moderation within Talkie rooms. It is a peer-to-peer style interaction.
  • Restricted Content: Talkie is intended exclusively for sharing Drummy links. It does not accept traditional text chat, images, or other media formats.
  • Encryption: Messages are encrypted using a cryptographic seed embedded in your invite link. We do not store this seed. If you lose your link, you lose access to past messages.
  • Ephemeral Storage: All rhythmic messages are automatically removed after 24 hours.

Identification

  • We store only a hashed version of user IDs to anonymize participation and manage user limits. No personal identifying information is associated with your account.
